Cancer Care at Home in London

If you are receiving cancer treatment in London, you do not have to travel to our clinic to access integrative support. Wellbeing Medical Group delivers consultant-designed IV infusion therapy to cancer patients at home across London — in the comfort of your own home.

Your treatment plan is designed personally by Dr Saskia Kloppenburg Vieth, using the same protocols and clinical standards as our Tower Bridge clinic. Our specialist cancer nurses visit you at home to deliver your infusions.

Why London Patients Choose Home IV Therapy

London has more cancer treatment capacity than anywhere else in the country. Between the NHS trusts and the private centres around Harley Street and Fulham Road, most patients here are already well served for conventional care. The difficulty is rarely distance. It is capacity.

A treatment week is already full of hospital appointments, blood tests, scans and pharmacy collections, and adding another trip out of the house is often more than a patient can face. Between chemotherapy cycles, when blood counts are low, being advised to avoid crowded places makes public transport and shared waiting rooms an unwelcome risk.

After surgery, stairs and taxis can be genuinely difficult. Our home service means London patients can access the same integrative support our clinic patients receive, without leaving home. An IV infusion needs a comfortable chair, a specialist nurse and time. It does not need a clinic.

Every protocol is designed personally by Dr Saskia Kloppenburg Vieth. She reviews your diagnosis, your hospital treatment and your blood results before recommending any therapy.

Our specialist cancer nurses deliver your IV infusion at home in London. They are experienced in oncology care and trained in all of our IV therapy protocols.

No journey across town, no waiting rooms. Your infusion is delivered wherever you are most comfortable.

We work around your hospital treatment calendar at Guy’s, the Royal Marsden, UCLH, or wherever you are being treated.

Your first consultation with our Medical Advisory Team is free. The team will review your diagnosis and explain your options, and there is no obligation to proceed.

How It Works for London Patients

Step 1 — Free Consultation Your care begins with a free video or telephone consultation with our Medical Advisory Team, who work closely with our lead consultant Dr Saskia Kloppenburg. The team reviews your diagnosis, your hospital treatment plan, and your medical history. There is no obligation to proceed.

Step 2 — Your Protocol Dr Saskia designs a personalised IV therapy protocol based on your cancer type, treatment stage, and clinical needs. Your protocol is designed to work safely alongside the treatment you are already receiving.

Step 3 — Nurse Visits Your Home A specialist cancer nurse from our team visits your home in London to deliver your IV infusion. Each session typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. Our nurses bring everything needed — you do not need to prepare anything.

Step 4 — Ongoing Care Dr Saskia reviews your progress regularly. Your protocol is adjusted as your treatment changes. You have direct access to our clinical team throughout your care.

Working Alongside Your London Oncology Team

We work alongside your hospital team, never in place of them.

Whether you are attending Guy’s, the Royal Marsden, UCLH, Barts, or any other NHS or private oncology service in London, Dr Saskia coordinates your integrative care plan with your existing treatment.

Our protocol is designed to sit alongside what your hospital team is already doing, and we will explain how the two fit together.

Areas We Cover in London

Our nursing team visits patients across London and the surrounding boroughs. These are the areas we are asked about most often.

Cancer care nurse visiting a patient at home in Kensington

Kensington and Chelsea

More of our London home patients live in this borough than any other. Most are already receiving conventional treatment nearby, which means their weeks are full before integrative support is even considered. Bloods on Monday, review on Thursday, infusion the week after. The home service exists so that support does not become a fourth thing to travel to. Your nurse comes to you, at a time that sits around the appointments you already have.

Specialist nurse delivering IV therapy at home in Knightsbridge

Knightsbridge and Belgravia

Patients here tend to value privacy highly, and a home visit is often the only part of their care that does not involve signing in somewhere. There is also a practical side: after a hard cycle, the effort of getting dressed, getting out and getting back can be more than the treatment itself. Your nurse confirms access with you beforehand, arrives when expected, and the infusion happens where you already are.

Home IV infusion for a cancer patient in Marylebone

Marylebone and Harley Street

If you are being treated privately in this part of London, you are unlikely to be short of appointments. You are more likely to be short of days without one. That is what home infusions change. Dr Saskia designs your protocol around the treatment you are already receiving and around the appointments you already have.

Cancer nurse preparing an IV infusion at a patient's home in Mayfair

Mayfair, St James's and Green Park

Some of our patients here are in London for treatment rather than living here. They have travelled for surgery or a course of conventional care, and want to know whether integrative support has to pause for the duration. It does not. Wherever you are staying, if there is a quiet room and somewhere comfortable to sit, we can deliver your infusion there.

Specialist cancer nurse with a patient at home in south London

Wandsworth and south London

This is the closest of our coverage areas to the clinic, and it changes how patients use us. Rather than choosing between clinic and home, many alternate — coming in when they feel strong, booking a home visit when a cycle has left them flattened. The protocol is identical either way. Only the location changes, and that decision can be made week by week, depending on how you feel.

Home cancer care visit in north London

Hampstead and north London

Most patients here travel south or into central London for their conventional treatment, which means a regular journey into a busy hospital during the weeks you are least able to face one. We visit across Hampstead, Highgate, Belsize Park, Camden and Islington. The point is not that the journey is long. It is that on some days, any journey is too much.

A: Yes. We always work alongside your hospital oncology team. Your integrative care plan is designed around your hospital treatment so there are no conflicts.
