Cancer Care at Home — IV Therapy Delivered Across the UK

You should not have to travel to London for specialist cancer support. Wellbeing Medical Group delivers consultant-designed IV infusion therapy to cancer patients across the UK, in the comfort of your own home.

Your treatment plan is designed personally by Dr Saskia Kloppenburg Vieth, using the same protocols and clinical standards as our Tower Bridge clinic. The only difference is where you sit during your infusion.

Why Home IV Therapy Matters for Cancer Patients

Cancer treatment is exhausting. Adding a long journey to London on top of chemotherapy, radiotherapy or immunotherapy can feel like too much. For patients outside London, accessing specialist integrative cancer support has traditionally meant choosing between travelling when you are at your weakest or going without.

Many of our patients told us the same thing: they wanted the support, but the travel was a barrier. Some were too fatigued after chemotherapy to make the trip. Others had mobility issues, or lived with family members who could not take time off work to drive them. Some simply lived too far away.

That is why we built our home IV therapy service. Not as a compromise, but as a genuine extension of our clinic — with the same clinical oversight, the same treatment protocols, and the same specialist nursing team.

Every protocol is designed personally by Dr Saskia Kloppenburg Vieth. She reviews your diagnosis, your hospital treatment and your blood results before recommending any therapy.

Our specialist cancer nurses deliver your IV infusion at home. They are experienced in oncology care and trained in all of our IV therapy protocols.

No travel, no waiting rooms, no hospital car parks. Your infusion is delivered wherever you are most comfortable — your living room, your bedroom, wherever works for you.

We work around your hospital treatment calendar. Sessions are booked at times that suit you, and our team coordinates with your oncology appointments to avoid clashes.

Your first consultation with Dr Saskia is free. She will explain your options and provide clear pricing. There is no obligation to proceed.

HOW IT WORKS

How Home IV Therapy Works

Step 1 — Free Consultation with Dr Saskia

Your care begins with a video or telephone consultation with Dr Saskia Kloppenburg Vieth, our Medical Director and Consultant in Integrative Oncology. She reviews your diagnosis, your hospital treatment plan, your blood results, and your medical history. This consultation is free and there is no obligation to proceed.

Step 2 — Your Personalised Treatment Protocol

Based on your consultation, Dr Saskia designs a bespoke IV therapy protocol tailored to your specific cancer type, treatment stage, and clinical needs. She selects the right combination of therapies, sets the dosing schedule, and coordinates with your NHS or private oncology team to ensure everything works together safely.

Step 3 — Specialist Nurse Visits Your Home

A specialist cancer nurse from our team visits you at home to deliver your IV infusion. Our nurses are experienced in oncology care and trained in all of our IV therapy protocols. They bring everything needed for your treatment — you do not need to prepare anything. Each visit typically takes between 60 and 90 minutes depending on the therapy.

Step 4 — Ongoing Monitoring and Adjustment

Your protocol is not fixed. Dr Saskia reviews your progress regularly, adjusting therapies based on your response, your blood results, and any changes in your hospital treatment. You have direct access to our clinical team throughout your care.

UK WIDE SERVICE

Where We Deliver Home IV Therapy

Our specialist nursing team covers the entire United Kingdom, including Scotland. We currently support patients in London, the South East, the Midlands, the North of England, Wales, and Scotland.

If you are unsure whether we cover your area, contact our team and we will confirm.

There is no integrative oncology clinic outside London offering the range of IV cancer therapies we provide.

For patients in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Reading, Southampton, Edinburgh and beyond, our home service means you can access specialist integrative cancer support without travelling to the capital.

If you are an international patient visiting the UK for treatment, we can coordinate home visits at your accommodation.

“Many of our patients live hours from London. They want integrative cancer support but cannot face a long journey on top of everything else treatment demands. Our home service exists so that distance is never a barrier to good care. The protocols are identical, the nursing team is the same, and I personally oversee every patient’s plan — whether they are sitting in our clinic or in their own living room.”

IV Therapies Available at Home

All of our IV infusion therapies are available for home delivery across the UK. Each one is designed to work alongside your hospital cancer treatment — never replacing it, always supporting it.

High Dose Vitamin C IV Therapy

The most widely researched complementary IV therapy in cancer care. Supports immune function, may help reduce treatment side effects, and has been shown to improve quality of life during chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Available as a planned course of infusions tailored to your treatment schedule.

Mistletoe IV Infusion Therapy

One of the most widely used complementary therapies in European integrative oncology. Mistletoe therapy supports immune function and has been shown in clinical studies to improve quality of life and treatment tolerance. Available as IV infusion or subcutaneous injection at home.

Curcumin IV Infusion Therapy

Curcumin is the active compound in turmeric with well-documented anti-inflammatory properties. When delivered intravenously at therapeutic doses, it bypasses the absorption limitations of oral supplements. Dr Saskia prescribes curcumin IV as part of protocols targeting inflammation and immune support

Helleborus IV Therapy

An emerging complementary therapy used in integrative oncology. Preclinical research suggests anti-inflammatory, immune-supporting and anti-proliferative properties. Prescribed by Dr Saskia where she believes it may benefit your specific diagnosis.

Wormwood IV Infusion Therapy

Wormwood (Artemisia annua) contains artemisinin, a compound with well-documented selective activity against cancer cells in laboratory studies. Delivered intravenously under medical supervision as part of your personalised protocol.

Pre & Post Surgery IV Support

IV infusion programmes designed to strengthen you before cancer surgery and support faster recovery afterwards. Supports immune function, nutritional status and tissue repair.

WHAT IS CLINIC-ONLY

Treatments Available at Our London Clinic Only

Ozone therapy requires specialist equipment that cannot be transported to your home. This treatment is available only at our clinic on Tower Bridge Road in central London. Ozone therapy is offered as intravenous (major autohemotherapy), rectal insufflation, vaginal insufflation, and subcutaneous injection. If you are travelling to London for ozone therapy, your IV infusion therapies can be delivered at the same appointment.

Beyond IV Therapy: Supportive Cancer Care

IV therapy is one part of a broader picture. Alongside your infusions, our supportive cancer care programme helps you manage the wider impact of cancer treatment — nutrition during chemotherapy, supplement safety, physical recovery, fatigue and emotional wellbeing. Dr Saskia Kloppenburg Vieth and the clinical team work with you to build a personalised plan that sits alongside your hospital treatment, whether you are receiving care on the NHS, privately, or both. Patients managing specific cancer treatment side effects — such as nausea, immune suppression, or neuropathy — can also access targeted support as part of the same integrated approach.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What IV therapies can I have at home?

A: All of our IV infusion therapies are available at home, including high-dose vitamin C, mistletoe, curcumin, helleborus, wormwood, and pre/post surgery infusions. Ozone therapy is the only treatment that requires a visit to our London clinic due to specialist equipment.

Q: How does home IV therapy work?

A: Your care begins with a free video or telephone consultation with Dr Saskia. She designs a personalised protocol based on your diagnosis and treatment plan. A specialist cancer nurse then visits your home to deliver your IV infusion, typically for 60 to 90 minutes per session.

Q: Is home IV therapy as safe as clinic treatment?

A: Yes. We use exactly the same protocols, the same clinical oversight, and the same specialist nursing team. Wellbeing Medical Group is CQC regulated and every protocol is designed by a GMC-registered consultant.

Q: Where do you deliver home IV therapy?

A: We cover the entire United Kingdom, including Scotland. Our nursing team currently supports patients across London, the South East, the Midlands, the North of England, Wales, and Scotland. Contact us to confirm coverage in your area.

Q: How much does home IV therapy cost?

A: Pricing depends on the therapies prescribed and the frequency of sessions. Your free consultation with Dr Saskia includes a full explanation of costs with no obligation to proceed. Contact our team to arrange a consultation.

Q: Can you work alongside my NHS oncologist?

A: Yes. We always work alongside your hospital treatment team, never in place of them. Dr Saskia coordinates with your NHS or private consultant to ensure your IV therapy protocol complements your existing care plan.

SAFETY AND STANDARDS

Same Standards as Our London Clinic

Home IV therapy from Wellbeing Medical Group is not a stripped-down version of what we offer at our clinic. It is the same service, delivered in a different location.

Every treatment protocol is designed personally by Dr Saskia Kloppenburg Vieth, a GMC-registered consultant with NHS experience at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine. Our nursing team specialises in cancer care and is trained in all of our IV therapy protocols. We are CQC regulated, which means we meet the same clinical standards as NHS services.

Your hospital oncology team is kept informed throughout. We work alongside your NHS or private consultant, not in place of them. If anything changes in your hospital treatment, we adjust your protocol accordingly.
