Our Integrative Cancer Support

At Wellbeing Medical Group, every treatment plan is designed around you.

Dr Saskia reviews your diagnosis, your hospital treatment and how you’re responding before recommending any complementary therapy.

We work alongside your oncologist to make sure everything we do supports — not interferes with — your hospital care.

Our integrative therapies include IV infusion treatments such as high dose vitamin C, mistletoe, curcumin, wormwood and helleborus, as well as pre and post-surgical support programmes.

Each therapy is chosen based on your specific needs, not from a standard menu.

As part of your integrated care plan, we provide supportive cancer care guidance covering nutrition, supplement safety, physical activity and emotional wellbeing. Every recommendation is tailored to your diagnosis, treatment phase and medical history.

Our clinical team specialises in integrative cancer care. Every member understands the unique needs of cancer patients and stays up to date with the latest research so that your protocol reflects current best practice.

Our clinic on Tower Bridge Road is easily accessible by public transport and within walking distance of London Bridge station. We’ve designed the space to feel calm and private

From the moment you arrive, our team is here to look after you. The clinic is a quiet, comfortable space where you can relax during your therapy.

We offer flexible scheduling around your hospital treatment calendar. Booking is straightforward and our team will help you find times that work.

We begin with a free consultation to understand your diagnosis and treatment history. Dr Saskia and the medical team will then recommend the right therapies for your situation and provide clear pricing. There is no obligation to proceed.

What Is Integrative Oncology?

Integrative oncology means combining your hospital cancer treatment — surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy — with complementary therapies that support your body and your wellbeing throughout.

We do not replace your NHS care. We work alongside it. When your oncologist is focused on treating the cancer itself, integrative therapies can help with everything around that: managing side effects, supporting your immune system, reducing fatigue and helping you feel more like yourself during a very difficult time.

At Wellbeing Medical Group, our integrative approach includes intravenous therapies that deliver essential nutrients and plant-derived compounds directly into your bloodstream.

Dr Saskia reviews your hospital reports, your current treatment and your overall health before recommending anything. Every plan is personal.

Benefits of Integrative Cancer Therapies

Integrative therapies can support cancer patients in several ways when used alongside conventional treatment:

Reduced nausea and vomiting — many patients find complementary therapies help manage the side effects of chemotherapy

Improved appetite — supporting nutrition during treatment when eating can be difficult

More energy — helping combat the fatigue that often accompanies cancer treatment

Better quality of life — patients consistently report feeling better supported when integrative care is part of their plan

Immune support — helping maintain your body’s natural defences during treatment

The goal is never to replace your hospital care. It’s to fill the gaps — to support your body and your wellbeing in ways that conventional treatment alone may not address.

Who Is Integrated Oncology For?

Integrative oncology is for anyone with a cancer diagnosis, at any stage of their journey. Whether you’re about to start treatment, currently going through chemotherapy or radiotherapy, recovering from surgery, or facing a situation where hospital treatment has ended or is no longer an option — we can help.

Most of our patients come to us because they want to do something active alongside their hospital treatment. They want to support their body, manage side effects and feel more in control during a time when so much feels out of their hands.

If you’re not sure whether integrative oncology is right for you, start with a free consultation. Dr Saskia will review your situation and give you clear advice about whether and how we can help.

Our Patient Stories

Fiona

Diagnosis: Adenocarcinoma non-small cell lung cancer

After one cycle of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, Fiona decided the side effects were too much. She came to us looking for a different way to support her body alongside her hospital care.

Dr Saskia reviewed her biopsy results, designed an integrative plan around her needs, and worked with her throughout. Her oncologist monitored her progress closely — and Fiona was able to maintain her quality of life and disease stability.

Isis

Diagnosis: Hodgkin Lymphoma

Isis was facing six months of chemotherapy for an aggressive diagnosis. She came to us wanting to do everything she could to reduce side effects and give the chemotherapy the best chance of working.

Dr Saskia designed an intensive protocol alongside her hospital treatment, and Isis committed fully — attending every session and immersing herself in the research behind her care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Integrative oncology combines your hospital cancer treatment with complementary therapies designed to support your body and improve your quality of life. It is not an alternative to conventional treatment — it works alongside it. At Wellbeing Medical Group, Dr Saskia reviews your diagnosis and hospital care, then recommends complementary therapies that are safe and appropriate for your specific situation.

Yes, and we encourage it. We work alongside your NHS team, not behind their back. Open communication between your oncologist and our team ensures your care is joined up and nothing we recommend interferes with your hospital treatment. Many oncologists are supportive of integrative approaches when they’re delivered under proper medical supervision.

Yes — in fact, this is when many of our patients find integrative support most valuable. Complementary therapies can help manage the side effects of chemotherapy, support your immune system and improve how you feel between treatment cycles. Dr Saskia will review your chemotherapy regimen and recommend therapies that complement it safely.

Both can be beneficial. Before chemotherapy, we can help prepare your body — strengthening your immune system and nutritional status so you go into treatment in the best possible condition. During and after chemotherapy, we focus on managing side effects, supporting recovery and maintaining your quality of life. The sooner you start, the more we can do — so contact us as early in your journey as possible.

Every treatment plan at Wellbeing Medical Group is designed by Dr Saskia, a consultant in integrative oncology and one of three consultants at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine. She reviews your hospital reports, understands your diagnosis and builds a plan that’s right for you. Your infusions are delivered by our specialist cancer care nursing team under full medical supervision.

No. IV infusions involve a small needle being placed in your arm or hand, which may cause a brief pinch. Once the infusion is running, most patients feel no discomfort at all. Many people read, rest or listen to something during their session. Our nursing team is experienced and will make sure you’re comfortable throughout.

Yes. Integrative cancer care is all we do. Our medical team is led by Dr Saskia, and our nursing team specialises in working with cancer patients. We are CQC regulated, which means we meet the same clinical standards as NHS services.
